[Text on screen] Planned burning is underway in the Anglesea Heath to maintain the health of the unique ecosystem.

The heath is a special have for native flora and is also home to a wide variety of wildlife.

[Text on screen] The “mosaic burning” involves low-intensity fire creating a patchwork of burnt and unburnt areas.

The resulting blend of new and mature vegetation will create diverse habitat for plants and wildlife.
